Don't WorryThis song, which reached #1 on the country music charts of it's day, has been stuck in my head since I first heard it on the radio 'way back in 1961. Written and performed by the great Marty Robbins, it's themes of forgiveness and acceptance, sung in a style that embraces both the joy and the suffering of all love relationships, give it a timeless quality that draws me back to it repeatedly. |

I have not attempted to imitate the original recording, which utilized the fuzz-tone guitar sound for the first time I know of, but I hope I have captured that feeling of the human spirit being reborn out of grief that made this record unforgettable.
